Topeka, Ind. – For 50 years, Starcraft has been building camping trailers with affordability and quality as the main focus. Today, that is still the focus for Starcraft’s Starflyer, Comet and Comet Hardside camping trailers that are all backed by Starcraft’s new two-year limited warranty. With numerous floorplans to choose from and the new Hardside series, this year’s camping trailer line up is full of appealing options for families of different sizes and budgets.
The new Comet Hardside series makes setup and teardown a breeze in three simple steps and no tents. Offered in four floorplans with a sleeping capacity up to four, the Comet Hardside series makes moving up from a tent easy. The H1232MD features a front cargo deck while the H1232SB features a front storage deck with storage box. Interior conveniences include a two cubic foot three-way refrigerator, three-burner stove and microwave. The exterior boasts an outside grill and shower. There’s a size and style for any camping trailer enthusiast. The highwall model, 3611HW, features two king-sized bunk ends and a tub/shower combo while the 12RT series, part of the off-road series made for adventurous RVers who like to haul equipment, gear, and toys for exploring off-the-beaten-path, features 15” mud tires along with a 63-inch by 84-inch storage deck. Standards for the Comet series include a 16,000-BTU furnace, quilted bed mats for the bunk ends rated at 1,050-pounds, privacy bunk curtains and window drapes, and stainless-steel carry-out stove (n/a 3611HW). The exterior is loaded with standards including a domed fiberglass roof with no center seam, E-Z lube axles, stepper entry door (n/a RT series), patio light with amber lens, and AquaShield Aqualon water-repellent sectionalized tent with a seven-year warranty, among many others.
The entry-level Starflyer has two floorplans to choose from, an eight-foot or ten-foot model. The ten-foot model features a queen-sized bunk while the eight-foot model features a full-sized bunk, although each model can sleep up to six people.
