STARCRAFT TRAVEL STAR HALF-TON FIFTH WHEEL EXPANDS OFFERINGS

Topeka, Ind. – The 2013 model year showcases many exciting developments made to the Travel Star fifth wheel product line. With new floorplans, more upgrades, and exciting new enhancements, this half-ton fifth wheel provides all the amenities expected in comfortable and convenience traveling. And the upgrades extend all the way to the Galaxy Package, comprising of 16 additional features that can be included in the already loaded Travel Star fifth wheel for even more luxury and ease while camping.

The 2013 Travel Star fifth wheel has five floorplans to choose from. The 275RKS and 286RLS models offer a sleeping capacity of between four to six people as well as two swivel rockers that come standard. Both floorplans have an optional free-standing table with chairs, and all have been enhanced with two new interior décor colors. The 278BHS sleeps up to eight and features a bunk area, queen bed and optional free-standing table with chairs. Some exterior enhancements include a new Solera awning, an added diamond plate to the front bottom wall to further the exterior protection, and an upgraded graphics package. The new 276RL features a L-shaped sofa, floating island and two recliners while the new 308BHU features a U-style sofa as well as a bunk area for the kids.

Interior standards include a 30” by 72” entry door, which is four inches taller than the competitors’. The spacious entry is matched by an 8-foot ceiling height which allows for a ceiling fan and the ducted furnace and A/C with directional vents, increasing the air flow by 20%. In the kitchen, standards include a deep, oversized sink, screwed stiles lumber cabinetry, and in select models there are 38-inch drawers under the dinette bases. The convenience package adds to the amenities found in the interior, adding a spice rack, integrated trash can storage, black panel refrigerator door inserts, and a double drawer with silverware dividers. In the bathroom, the convenience package adds a porcelain toilet and a radius corner shower.

On the outside, the 2013 Travel Star fifth wheel comes with a STARMAXX drop frame basement storage area with tool hooks and light, 10-gallon gas/electric DSI water heater, chrome hub caps, radial tires, dual 20-pound LP bottles, and two rear stabilizer jacks that are bolted, not screwed. More outside features include an outside kitchen with sink, portable Coleman grill, and TV prep on select models. Constructed with vacuum-bonded laminated sidewalls, 3/8-inch decking on roof, 5/8-inch main floor decking, one-piece seamless rubber roof and the standard Arctic Package – insulated, heated and enclosed underbelly, foil insulation in roof and slide room floors – the Travel Star is sure to handle anything the road might throw at it.

The 2013 Travel Star fifth wheel also comes with the optional Galaxy Package that features 16 upgrades, including an electric patio awning, power rear stabilizer jacks, a remote control for awning, porch light, and security lights, and a colored fiberglass front cap. The Galaxy Package also adds aluminum rims, an upgraded graphics package, and a large folding grab handle at the main entry door. The interior Galaxy Package adds a 32” LED TV with DVD player, raised panel cabinetry throughout, and hardwood panel refrigerator door inserts, and so much more.
