November 29, 2013

Topeka, Ind. – Affordable and durable have been the focus of Starcraft RV for 50 years and the Travel Star EXP has both. Take the whole family camping in the light-weight 2014 Travel Star EXP. It’s easily towed by most minivans and crossover vehicles while remaining spacious and durable enough to withstand the family camping lifestyle. In addition, Starcraft is proud to stand behind all of its models with the new two-year limited warranty, offering consumers peace of mind.

Six floorplans are available in the ever-expanding Travel Star EXP, with sleeping capacities between seven and ten people, 78” ceilings and 17 to 27 foot lengths. The 2014 enhancements include the 50th Anniversary Promotional Package featuring an electric awning with LED lighting strip, eight cubic foot refrigerator and 50th anniversary spare tire cover.

With the industry’s most durable tents, the 1,100-pound rated queen bunk ends on the Travel Star EXP boast AquaShield Aqualon water-repellent tent material, backed by an industry-best, 7-year warranty. The walls are made with vacuum-bonded laminated sidewalls and integrated corrosion-resistant A-frame, giving it strength to endure travel and the elements. This strength is reinforced on the inside even down to the cabinets, as it uses wood screwed cabinet stiles as opposed to stapled construction.

Even with the small travel size of the Travel Star EXP, the roomy interior features an eight cubic foot flush-mount refrigerator, three-burner range, kitchen sink covers with an integrated drying rack, as well as a tub/shower skylight and porcelain toilet. It also boasts queen-sized quilted bunk mats, bathroom exhaust fan and pleated shades for privacy. The dinette comes with four-inch deep non-sliding dinette cushions with a vinyl back for easy cleaning. Its technology features keep you entertained on the go, with a stereo complete with MP3 input jack and two speakers, cable and satellite TV prep, and a crank-up HDTV antenna with signal booster.

On the outside, the diamond plate front profile protects while front, painted bottom radius skirting and rear stabilizer jacks keep things sturdy. The Travel Star EXP comes with a pair of 20 lb. propane bottles that are easily accessible. Other exterior standards include a convenient outside shower, radial tires with optional aluminum rims, a spare tire for unexpected bumps in the road, and grill prep.

Designed to be easy on the road and the wallet, the 2014 Travel Star EXP delivers on both. Expandable space at an affordable price makes the Travel Star EXP a perfect fit for families who love to camp with only the necessary standards.
