Topeka, Ind. - The Redesigned 2012 Starcraft Travel Star travel trailer offers family-friendly bunk rooms and space-making slideouts, providing families with everything they need for an enjoyable weekend camping, and then some. And new for 2012 is the optional Galaxy Package that features 23 upgrades.
The 2012 lineup is currently available in three floorplans with three more to follow. Lengths run 28 feet to 30 feet offering seven-foot interior height and 30-inch by 72-inch entry doors – four inches taller than comparable models. The Travel Star travel trailer is equipped with a Fastway Flip automatic jack foot, a Starcraft exclusive, and a STARMAXX front pass-through storage area with light and tool hooks. An outside kitchen with sink and two-burner stove can also be found on select models.
The kitchen in the redesigned 2012 Travel Star travel trailer line has been updated with a residential style faucet with pull-out sprayer, a deep oversized kitchen sink, covers for the sink with integrated drying rack, a storable kitchen cutting board and a double drawer with incorporated silverware dividers. The kitchen also features a three-burner range, six cubic-foot refrigerator, deep storage drawers under booth dinette seat, kitchen valence with integrated spice rack, and oversized 21-inch oven. The bedroom was upgraded with two-tone wallboard and a pull-out laundry basket located under the bed. Exterior security light switches were added to the bedroom and living area and an amber light was also added at the entry step.
Built for reliability and durability, the Travel Star uses TuffShell vacuum-bonded lamination during construction. The walls combine welded aluminum framing, fiberglass sidewalls and metal backers, ensuring they can handle the toughest conditions. Plus, the standard Arctic Package provides protection against extreme temperatures, so this travel trailer is built to extend the camping season.
New for 2012 is the optional Galaxy Package that features 23 upgrades, including colored front fiberglass cap, electric awning, front and rear power stabilizer jacks, electric tongue jack and key fob remote which controls the patio awning, porch light, security light, front and rear jacks and slideout room. Some of the other upgrades include slam latch on front pass-through storage doors, deluxe graphics package, aluminum rims, two 30-pound propane bottles with cover, reflective foil insulation in roof, floor and front wall, solid-surface countertops with under mounted sink, upgraded kitchen backsplash, 32” LCD TV with DVD player, upgraded bedroom headboard with integrated shelf and raised panel cabinetry throughout.
The 2012 Travel Star travel trailers are redesigned with full slideouts and roomier floorplans to make camping with the whole family more enjoyable.
