Loaded with all of the standard features you would need, and at an affordable Starcraft price, this new fifth wheel is just what the half-ton market has been waiting for. Also new for 2012 is the optional Galaxy Package that features 17 upgrades.
The 2012 lineup is currently available in two flexible floorplans with two more to follow. Interior standards include in-floor ducted heat with thermostat controlled heating, cable and satellite TV prep, decorative lighting package, ball bearing drawer guides with 50-pound capacity and full-drawer extension, evergreen mattress with upgraded radius corners and multi-media sound system with AM/FM/CD stereo with MP3 input jack. In the kitchen you will find a three-burner range, six cubic-foot flush-mount refrigerator, deep storage drawers under booth dinette seats, extra large picture window at dinette, double drawer with integrated silverware dividers, oversized 21-inch oven, residential faucet with pull-out sprayer and sink covers, and storable cutting board.
On the outside, the 2012 Travel Star fifth wheel comes with carefree patio awning, STARMAXX drop frame basement storage area with tool hooks and light, 10-gallon gas/electric DSI water heater, chrome hub caps, radial tires, dual 20-pound LP bottles, two rear stabilizer jacks, and outside kitchen with sink, two-burner stove and TV prep on select models. Constructed with vacuum-bonded laminated sidewalls, 3/8-inch decking on roof, 5/8-inch main floor decking, six-foot interior slideroom height, hardwood stiles with screwed construction, one-piece seamless rubber roof and the standard Arctic Package – insulated, heated and enclosed underbelly; foil insulation in roof and slide room floors – the Travel Star is sure to handle anything the road might throw at it.
Also for 2012 on the new Travel Star half-ton fifth wheel is the optional Galaxy Package that features 17 upgrades, including colored front fiberglass cap, electric awning, rear power stabilizer jacks, and key fob remote which controls the patio awning, porch light, security light, front and rear jacks and slideout room. Some of the other upgrades include slam latch on front pass-through storage doors, deluxe graphics package, aluminum rims, reflective foil insulation in roof, floor and front wall, solid-surface countertops with under mounted sink, 32” LCD TV with DVD player, upgraded bedroom headboard with integrated shelf and raised panel cabinetry throughout.
In addition, all Starcraft products have been Green Certified by TRA Certification, Inc, an independent third party certification agency. The Travel Star earned a top-level Certification through the use of sustainable materials, environmentally-friendly production methods, energy-efficient components and reduction of waste.
