Topeka, Ind. – As the name implies, the entry-level Starcraft Launch “launches” customers’ camping experience at an affordable price. Available in two light-weight, fiberglass series, the Launch seven-foot wide models, and the Launch Ultra Lite eight-foot wide models, there’s an option to meet every need. Affordable, family-friendly, and now backed by Starcraft’s two-year limited warranty, the Launch makes enjoying the camping experience a lot easier for more consumers.
The Launch has six floor plans, including the 15FD, 16RB, 17FB, 17SB, 18BH, 19BHS while the Launch Ultra Lite has four floorplans, including the 21FBS, 24RLS, 26BHS, and 28BHS, all of which range from 15 to 31 feet in length and boast a 78” interior height. Better yet, five out of the nine remain under 3,000 pounds for easy towing by most minivans and crossovers. The 10 floor plans range in sleeping capacity between three to ten people depending on the floorplan. The 28BHS Launch Ultra Lite features double Happijac® beds in the rear and a queen bed in the front while the 17SBfeatures a side slide with a queen bed and a front slide with a full bed. The 19BHS has a queen bed in the back with bunk beds in the front. New interior décor and Honey-glazed cherry cabinetry make the interiors of the Launch and Launch Ultra Lite inviting.
Built with durable vacuum-bonded aluminum frame construction, the amazingly affordable Launch is also amazingly well constructed. The Launch has an expandable Aqua-Shield Aqualon® sectionalized tent in select models, backed by an industry-best, seven-year tent warranty. Standard construction features include a fully decked roof with 3/8-inch decking, crowned roof trusses, one piece seamless roof, Poly Flex one-piece underbelly covering and screwed stile cabinetry with hardwood stiles.
On the inside, the 2015 Launch features a two-burner range, 8,000-BTU A/C, 54-inch booth dinette with inside/outside dinette table, four cubic-foot refrigerator and freezer, and microwave and range hood. Other standard features include a tub and shower with bathroom skylight and vent, a 26” wide entry door with window, 18,000-BTU furnace, six-gallon water heater, cable TV prep and rear stabilizer jacks. Also available is an optional 13,500-BTU roof mount A/C. The standard Show Stopper Package features Denver Mattress and heated bunk mats on the 15FD, 16RB, and 17SB, electric awning, spare tire cover and four stabilizer jacks.
The Launch Ultra Lite boasts a Jack Knife sofa, bath skylight, three-burner range, and double bowel sink on the inside. On the outside, there are pass-thru storage compartments on all models, cable and satellite prep, two 20-pound LP bottles with cover, radius colored bottom wrap metal, and outside grill prep. The standard Show Stopper Package for the Launch Ultra Lite enhances the camping experience with eight-cu. ft. gas/electric refrigerator, 30-lb. propane bottles with cover, Denver Mattress pillow-top mattress, electric tongue jack, and LED accent lighting under kitchen countertops, plus more.
